John V. White (Diné) is an enrolled citizen of the Navajo Nation.

He is a PhD student at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, enrolled in the Language, Literacy, and Social Studies program at the College of Education and Human Sciences.

His research centers on bilingual education, focusing particularly on the Diné (Navajo) language.

With a diverse background, John holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s degree in architecture.

He has three years of experience working at an architectural firm and later moved to UNM Gallup, where he taught lower-level math and Introduction to Architecture as an adjunct faculty member, as well as served as a Math & Science Education Specialist.
